Think of an especially difficult relational situation you were in where you confronted the person/people and resolved the problem. How hard was it to confront the offender? How did your relationship change after the resolution?
Prayer: Ask God to help you learn the depths of what it means to have an attitude of forgiveness.

It is not usually my nature to confront others; but sometimes our own lack of clarity leads to miscommunication. When that happens, I have learned to approach the situation and person lovingly as Christ would. Defenses don't become an issue, humility is honored and one's faith is illustrated and becomes a testimony to forgiveness. But it is not always easy to do; prayer and contemplation are crucial before any confrontation. Mutual resolution will be sweeter than winning a disagreement.
